Originally from Shaker Heights, Ohio, Brad graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with degrees in business and dentistry. He later completed a general practice residency at Palmetto Health Richland Memorial Hospital in Columbia, SC. Brad is the owner of SouthEnd Dentistry, a general and cosmetic dental practice located in the South End/Dilworth area of Charlotte.
As a third year member on the board he is excited about getting more involved in YAM and recruiting members to the organization. In his free time Brad enjoys travel, fitness, the saxophone, and having a good time with friends and family.
Originally from East Orange New Jersey, Khoy graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a Bachelors of Science in Information Technology with concentrations in management and finance. Interested in finance and IT from a young age, Khoy began his banking career at the age of 16 as an intern at JPMorgan Chase. Since graduating he moved to Charlotte in 2007 to work for Bank of America. He currently is working in the Investment Banking division at Wells Fargo Securities.
As a second year member, Khoy is looking forward to his expanding involvement in YAM and developing opportunities for YAM to expand its membership, community involvement, and reach throughout Charlotte. When a free moment is available, Khoy likes to spend his free time with his wife Kari and their new son Khoy Jr.
Kaysi Winsman joined the Young Affiliates of the Mint in early 2010 with a desire to become involved in volunteer leadership in Charlotte’s cultural community. In late 2010, she served on the Black and White Gala committee as Co-Chair for Décor and Logistics. After graduating from the Arts & Science Council’s Cultural Leadership Training Program in 2010, she joins the board as Artitudes Co-Chair.
A native of Austin, Texas, Kaysi has enjoyed Charlotte life for six years. In her spare time, Kaysi volunteers with various Charlotte non-profits and runs. Kaysi is professionally focused on alumni relations and annual giving for Queens University of Charlotte, her alma mater.
Cabell grew up in Williamburg, VA. After attending the University of Virginia (go Hoos!) and William & Mary Law School, she moved to Charlotte in 2008. Cabell has been an attorney in Moore & Van Allen’s Commercial Litigation Group since the fall of 2008.
Outside of the office Cabell enjoys traveling, relaxing with friends and playing with her two goldendoodles, Weezie and Brodie. Cabell has been a member of the Young Affiliates of the Mint since 2008. After serving as the logistics sub-chair for Derby Days for two years, she is excited to join the board as an Artititudes Co-Chair!
After graduating from the University of Illinois, Sharon became a financial analyst for Ingersoll Rand and moved to Charlotte a few years ago.
In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with friends, cooking & baking, reading, and scrap booking. She is looking forward to having another fantastic year on the board and a successful Derby Days event!
Erin came to Charlotte by way of Myrtle Beach, S.C. She graduated from Furman University with a degree in English and the University of South Carolina with a master’s degree in mass communication.
An avid sports fan and beach bum, she looks forward to her first year on the board.
Born and raised a Baltimore Ravens fan, Carolyn grew up in Glen Burnie, MD. She moved to Charlotte in 2005 to attend Queens University of Charlotte and play lacrosse. Carolyn is the Development Coordinator at the Lupus Foundation of America, Piedmont Chapter and coaches lacrosse for the Queen City Stars girls program. She enjoys trying out new spots in Charlotte and will be running her first marathon in the fall.
Carolyn is excited for her second year on the board and cheers to another fabulous Black & White Gala event at the Mint Museum Uptown!
“Simone is a native of Baltimore, MD and moved to Charlotte a few years ago. A graduate of Bowie State University and College of Notre Dame of Maryland, Simone is the Marketing & Communications Director for the American Heart Association. As a first year board member, she is excited to serve as the Back & White Gala co-chair and move into the chair role in 2012.
