Emily is a native star city gal from Roanoke, VA. She graduated from Elon University in 2006 and decided to stay in North Carolina to join the hospitality industry. After a year in the world of NASCAR and three years as an event planner at The Duke Mansion, she now spends her days planning continuing education programs at Queens University of Charlotte.
This is Emily’s fourth year on the Board and she is thrilled to help lead the great efforts of the organization. She is looking forward to another year with the YAMs – art, social gatherings, and the opportunity to meet more Queen City young professionals!
Katie Rozycki joined the Young Affiliates of the Mint in 2008 upon returning to the Charlotte area after five years away. Her professional focus has been in fundraising for education for many years and she is currently the Latin Fund Manager at Charlotte Latin School.
Personal interests include: live music, road trips, and road trips to see live music. She enjoys international travel but stinks at foreign languages. Katie’s interested in all things media and interior and graphic design. She’s fascinated by the state we live in, and it’s a personal goal to visit all of it’s 100 counties. Katie is also currently knee-deep in renovating her condo, while consequently wondering what she has gotten herself into.
Since graduating from Appalachian State University in 2003, Mark has lived in Charlotte. He is a successful real estate broker. Outside of selling real estate he enjoys relaxing with the wife, volunteering in various community organizations, church, and cycling. He served two years on the board as Derby Days Vice-Chair. He is excited about his new role as Membership Chair and bringing more people into this great group.
Caroline is a native of Grand Rapids, MI. She is a graduate of Central Michigan University. Caroline worked for Gap and Dillards Corp offices before moving to Charlotte 3 years ago. She currently works at Belk Corp. as a Designer for Private Label Apparel.
She enjoys entertaining with friends, baking, and working out at the Y. This is Caroline’s third year on the board and after two wonderful years working on the Black and White Gala, she is very excited to hold an executive position and be involved in the growth of the organization. She is looking forward to this upcoming year in the YAMs and new ways to grow, interact, and network.
Tiffany grew up in Indianapolis, but spent 13 years in Pittsburgh before moving to Charlotte in December of 2004. A graduate of Point Park University in Pittsburgh, Tiffany is a global business manager at Mercer, a global human resource consulting, outsourcing and investment services firm.
Having been involved in the performing arts for most of her life, Tiffany was thrilled to find an organization like the Young Affiliates to join after moving to Charlotte and has thoroughly enjoyed her time serving on the Board. She is looking forward to serving as Past President in her final year on the Board and to being a part of all of the exciting events and programs planned for the Young Affiliates and at the Mint this year.
