Emily is a native star city gal from Roanoke, VA. She graduated from Elon University in 2006 and decided to stay in North Carolina to join the hospitality industry. After a year in the world of NASCAR and three years as an event planner at the Duke Mansion, she now spends her days as Program Coordinator for the Center for Lifelong Learning at Queens University of Charlotte.

This is Emily's third year on the board and after two great years working on the Black and White Gala, she is very excited to hold an executive position and to see the organization grow. She is looking forward to another year with the YAMs – art, social gatherings and the opportunity to meet more Queen City young professionals!
