Young Affiliates of the Mint Board

Rich is a native of Illinois but has long lost his Midwestern accent after being in North Carolina for the past 15 years. A graduate of Elon College (yes it was college, not university when he graduated) he moved to Charlotte on a whim with hopes of pursuing a career in advertising or marketing. That career path didn’t pan out, and after several years of selling office supplies, decided to jump out and begin a career in his true passion…throwing parties! Hence RockHouse Events was founded and is beginning their sixth year of business. While the pub crawls, cruises, and bar promotions are fun, Rich hopes to eventually fall back into his other event company, RDS Events, which specializes in corporate event planning. In the extremely rare free time he has, Rich enjoys trying to burn off the beer calories at the gym, traveling anywhere, and supporting pretty much any professional or college sports team from Illinois.
